Precast Wall Removal

Pasadena, Texas
The plan to upgrade a neighborhood HEB grocery to a Super HEB in Pasadena, Texas called for several tilt wall panels to be removed and demolished.

The concrete panels were 7½ inches thick and ranged from 25 to 35 feet in height. Work had to be completed overnight, so that the store could maintain normal business hours and remain open to local shoppers.

Between 11:00 p.m. and 5:00 a.m each night, highly trained ATI technicians pulled down 4 to 5 panels weighing nearly 30,000 pounds each. In total, over 250 feet of wall space was safely disassembled. The panels were then broken into smaller pieces and hauled away.

Simultaneously, workers inside the building used electric saws to cut and remove concrete in areas of the store where new expansion was planned. Interior concrete cutting work required extraordinary precision to accommodate MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) utilities.

Once again, Aggregate Technologies, Inc. has completed a challenging concrete removal assignment on time and without incident – despite logistical constraints and a rigid timeline.

Aggregate Technologies is experienced in concrete sawing and demolition and is your reliable partner for any concrete cutting job in the continental United States.
