FAQ: What is your minimum charge and what does it cover?

May 1, 2014

Let’s start by defining a few hypothetical jobs and then go from there. The minimum work we are discussing is having an operator arrive at a job site and do a small amount (approximately two hours) of core drilling, flat sawing, wall sawing, concrete breaking, or load and haul of debris off site.

For example, the following specific jobs would likely fall under this definition: drilling several holes in concrete for signage, breaking a several hundred square feet of concrete in a parking lot, wall sawing a door opening in a warehouse wall, slab sawing about 50 or 60 feet of 6” pavement, or wire sawing a 2’x2’ concrete column.

Depending on what kind of work there is to be done and how much work there is to do a minimum charge could range from $350 to $1500. However, you must be aware that where the job is located may factor in the minimum charge. If the job requires several hours of travel this may incur an additional charge.

Another example of an additional charge would be going into a high rise and having to carry all the equipment up 20 flights of stairs to get to the work area.
